BVIPC or The Brazos Valley Injury Prevention Coalition will no longer be a local grant. For the last several years we have been statewide to better serve Texans. We have changed our name to reflect those changes and we will now be known as Silver Drivers Safe Texans. Our main focus will be on the target age of 55 plus for general traffic safety programs and we will serve all ages with presentations on Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety. We will also offer programs on Pedestrian Safety to high schools and colleges with our victim’s impact speaker, Sue Beatty who lost her daughter to a pedestrian/drunk driver crash.
